Postcard from France : 250907
Bon bon, shake your Bonny Bon Journo
Have you ever heard something which to is the nest news for the day done a little jig and then realised that to those not in the know you look rather daft?
I didn't care when they decided not to run with Round 3 today. This morning we sauntered over to Santocha for the remainder of Round 2.
A few facts for those superstitious amongst us :
* Of the 9 heat winners today 7 wore the yellow vest
* The only two red vest winners were in the first and last heat of the day
* All the American/Hawaiians who surfed today, all wore the red vest and all lost.
It must be a red thing, Andy goes over the falls in a red vest (he won his heat though) while brother Bruce looses in a red vest . . . .
Only two days of competition required now, but it is going to be a very long two days as Hossegor is not being very friendly towards us.
The swell is here but it's very messy. Today it rained, the sun shone the sun went away, it rained again, the sun shone the sun went away it rained again. Competition finished for the day the sun shone again. Now it's throwing down the proverbial cat & dog.
