Postcards from Mundaka : 131007

Ola,

If you ever have a harddrive failure and fear data los is inevitable, fear not Data Rescue II will put all your worries to rest. 8hrs of scanning later it didn't resolve my suspected stomach ulcer but it did find sixty nine thousand seven hundred and eighty one files which roughly translates to forty thousand photos recoverable. Take that Disk Warrior with your give up attitude.

Back to the contest . . excuse the pun *which has been adopted as the contest quote* I think we're going Back to Bakio. Mundaka, as you can see here, is a big tease this year. She would be a rich gal if she were human and teased this well to paying patrons. Low tide allows the swell which manages to wrap into the bay to break on the sandbar and thus peak interest and then back off for another hour when another set will sneak in.

The break in action allowed me to attempt the art of stand up paddling. Will blow my own trumpet but I got it on the third attempt when I wasn't being sabotaged by Miz Griggi. Tandem paddling was another thing all together, the harbor people must have thought I had it made getting paddled in by a girl.

Anyhow, the Wellingtons beat the Frogs and thus the Boks (why do I detest that name so much) get a chance to smash the Wellingtons 36, sorry what did the Wellingtons score, oh yes ZERO. We just have the small hurdle of a semi-final tomorrow.

Who will be the person getting tossed off the Mundaka harbor wall tomorrow? Who will be gracing the postcard tomorrow? We shall find out when the remaining 90 minutes of surfing are completed tomorrow.
