Postcards from Mundaka : 121007

Ola,

First things first, Disk Warrior proved to be nothing but a big flirt. It didn't even attempt to restore dignity to my drive. NO it just said sorry this is not a mac formatted drive I can't do it, sorry for you.

Let's see if Data Rescue II can come to the park and play ball because I am feeling physically ill at the thought of what could be gone if this issue is not resolved in a friendly manner. It's either that or (a) I have a stomach ulcer from the daily glass of fresh orange juice and mud coffee or (b) it's because I haven't eaten properly in two days. Two tostas and a few tapas just aren't cutting it for my dietary needs.

Two heats remaining, both the semis and the final. That is roughly 90 minutes of surfing left, and not a single heat of the Billabong Pro Mundaka has run at Mundaka. That is 60 heats which translates to 30 hours of action the terrible beach break of Bakio has savored. "2007 Billabong back to Bakio Pro'.

Bakio is not all stones, it is a rough diamond in disguise. Just look at the backdrop it gave me for our man from Slummies Royden Bryson, the only South African to reach Round 4.

While my stomach ulcer grows from worry I will be going for a liquid dinner now.
