Postcards from Mundaka : 111007

Ola,

This is a perfect example of why the Euro surf spectators irritate the living patience out of me. They either stand in front of you, proceed to turn around see you looking at them see your camera pointing at them but then proceed to turn and view the ocean as if there were no eyes of death daggers glaring at them. OR as in this case they just walk clean in front of you. But this perpetrator is forgiven because it created something different which I don't mind, and that is a rare thing.

Let me list the atrocities of what happened since I left SA:
* my tripod got lost - but I got it back so that is ok.
* in Santander not much happened there besides having to use tragic disposable razors & turning my face into a raging sheet of fire.
* in France I lost 1 of my 2 pairs of shoes.
* in France I forgot to do something and had some angry Brasil nuts giving my boss a grilling.
* in Mundaka there has been no Mundaka action but I did surf 1ft Mundaka and have some fun so that's a forgiven.
* one of my drives died thanks to a power failure and I'm in big kak if I do not resolve it, Disk Warrior you will be my saviour.
* yesterday my only remaining pair of shoes were soaked to the toes by a sneaky wave.
* said sneaky wave also resulted in my CF cards going for a salty spin cycle - they still work, gotta love solid state.

This was a catch-up for yesterday, hopefully todays will result in good news about my soon to be best friend Disk Warrior and waves at the sandbar Mundaka.
